The 5 most efficient daily zones (by gold per minute)
| Zone | Gold | Time | g/min |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coldarra | 95g | 20 min | 4.75 |
| Argent Tournament | 50g | 15 min | 3.33 |
| Wyrmrest Accord | 50g | 10 min | 5.00 |
| Sons of Hodir | 50g | 20 min | 2.50 |
| Cooking | 30g | 15 min | 2.00 |

The 5 best class picks for daily quest farming (2026)
Death Knight (Frost / Unholy)
Why: Death Grip pulls the kill target to you, saving 30 seconds per daily. The DK is the fastest farming class.
Druid (Feral / Balance)
Why: Travel Form (410% speed) makes moving between dailies 2-3x faster than walking / mounting. The Feral Druid is the second fastest farming class.
Paladin (Protection / Retribution)
Why: Divine Shield + Lay on Hands make the farming immortal. The Paladin is the safest farming class (if you get caught in PvP, you can escape).
Mage (Frost / Fire)
Why: Blink + Ice Block make the farming fast. The Mage is the third fastest farming class.
Priest (Discipline / Holy)
Why: Power Word: Shield + Psychic Scream make the farming safe. The Priest is the second safest farming class.
The 5 most common daily quest mistakes
- Not flying to the zone — Cold Weather Flying is mandatory for all 5 daily zones. Walk 30% slower = 30% less g/min.
- Not doing the Cooking daily — the Cooking daily is the easiest 25-30g you can earn (15 minutes of fishing).
- Not doing the Argent Tournament — the Tournament is 50g for 15 minutes (best g/min after Wyrmrest).
- Not doing the daily reset — the daily reset is every 24 hours. If you skip a day, you lose 200-300g.
- Not using the Catfish Cache — the Cooking daily is one of the easiest 25-30g you can earn. See our WoW Forever Fishing Guide (2026): Northrend Pools + Catfish Cache for the full path.
The seasonal / event dailies (2026)
The Northrend daily rotation can be extended with seasonal event dailies (2-3x per year):
- Hallow's End dailies (October): 50-100g + 5 candies per day.

- Children's Week dailies (May): 50-100g + 5 treats per day.
These seasonal dailies add 50-200g per day during the active period, bringing the total daily gold to 300-500g per day during event weeks.
