Reputation farming strategies

1. Quest completion

The fastest way to start rep is doing all quests in a faction’s zone.

Pros: Easy, fast initial rep Cons: Quests dry up after first run

2. Dungeon tabard (best passive)

Once you hit Honored with a city faction, you can buy a tabard that gives rep on dungeon kills.

How it works:

1. Buy tabard from faction vendor (Honored)
2. Equip tabard
3. Run any dungeon
4. Every kill = +rep with that faction

Pros: Passive rep while doing other content Cons: Slow (10-20 rep per kill)

3. Cloth turn-in

Many factions accept cloth (Linen, Wool, Silk) for rep at 60-300 rep per stack.

Pros: Material is cheap, decent rep gain Cons: Cloth is competitive (other players farm too)

4. Repeatable turn-in items

Some factions have repeatables:

• Cenarion Circle: Timberlings (plant parts) for 25 rep each
• Argent Dawn: Bones of the forsaken for 25 rep each
• Thorium Brotherhood: Dark Iron scraps for 25 rep each

5. Mob grinding

Killing specific mobs in faction-related zones gives rep:

• Cenarion Circle: Twilight mobs in Felwood (best rep/hour)
• Argent Dawn: Undead in Plaguelands
• Thorium Brotherhood: Dark Iron dwarves in BRD/Searing Gorge
