WoW Forever Beta Mount Guide: Rares, Reputations, and Drops
Mounts are WoW Forever’s most-coveted collectibles. While the best mounts unlock at max level (level 60), there are plenty of mounts obtainable during the beta (levels 1-20). This guide covers every obtainable mount, their sources, and tips for farming them efficiently.

Stormwind / Orgrimmar discount
Exalted with your capital city grants a 100g discount on your first mount. That’s a 50-100% savings on your mount cost.
How to get: Quest through Elwynn/Redridge/Duskwood + tabard in Stockades dungeon + city dailies.
Cenarion Circle mounts
- Reins of the Cenarion War Hippogryph (Exalted) — pre-bis ground mount
- Pattern: Mooncloth Bag (Revered) — best 16-slot bag in-game
Ironforge mount
- Mithril Mechanical Dragonling — engineering-crafted rare mount
- Requires Thorium Brotherhood Exalted (hard grind)
Darnassus mount
- Reins of the Stag — classic Night Elf aesthetic

Skyborne-specific mounts
Skyborne doesn’t get unique racial mounts, but the Skyborne Heritage set unlocks at level 60. Skyborne players also get a slightly different running animation.

Yes (transmog rule). Once unlocked, all your characters can use them.

No — rare drop mounts are soulbound on pickup.
